Atwood Farm Supplies
Atwood Farm Supplies has been serving the community for over 30 years. When it opened in 1974 by Carman Baker and Charles Lake it was originally a coal storage yard adjacent to the railway, but was soon converted to store fertilizer. A used office was moved over from Cashway, and then enlarged to accommodate hardware and farm supplies. In 1978 ownership was taken over by Jack and Rodney Stone and was combined with Jack's warehouse location on Line 80 in Mornington Township. Brian Tormey was hired as an employee and joined the partnership in 1985. Younger brother Ross Stone joined in the business in 1988 until 1997.
In late spring 2003, Atwood Farm Supplies acquired the former JRI plant location at Donegal and closed Jack's original warehouse. This has enabled Atwood Farm Supplies to greatly increase their fertilizer capabilities and broaden their customer area.
At both locations we offer the latest in agronomy information, with the leading industry standards. We offer all crop inputs from seed, fertilizer and chemicals to marketing advice and nutrient management planning. Atwood Farm Supplies is a leader in the Agriculture Industry and is working everyday to become an active partner in it's customers businesses.
